How To Fix Office 365 code 17029

Repair Difficulty : Low

Step 1: Disable Microsoft Windows Firewall

For Windows 8
1) Press Win Button and Type Control Panel and Press Enter.

2) In Control Panel , Open “Windows Firewall”.


3) Tap On “Turn Windows Firewall on or off”

Note: If you are logged in as Normal user you will be asked to enter Admin Password

4) Click “Turn Off Windows Firewall” under each network
location and then Click “OK”

Step 2: Proxy Setting
1) Goto Control Panel.
Windows 7 : Press Win Key and then Select Cotrol Panel from Right window.
Microsoft Windows 8 : Press Windows key + R and type “Control” and Press Enter.

2) In Search Box Type Internet and Click on “Internet Options”.
3) Click On Connections Tab and then Press LAN Setting.

4) Uncheck “Use a proxy server for your LAN” if its already ON.

Uninstall Office Installation
Windows 8
1) Press Win Button and Type Control Panel and Press Enter.

2) In Control Panel , Click on Program and Features..

3) Choose your Office installation
4) Select Uninstall and follow the onscreen steps.|
Step 3: Check System Integrity
1) Press Win + R

2) Type cmd and Press Enter.

3) Type “sfc /scannow” and press enter.

Note: You will need Admin rights to run the command.

Step 4: Try the installation again.
